The STUDIOIOIO platform accelerates emerging design professionals in being able to bring their vision and passion to realization in the built environment.

STUDIOIOIO is a digital platform for collaboration, serving as a new modality for assembling transdisciplinary teams to work collectively on complex problems in the built environment.

Team

Nicole Biewenga

Co-Founder

Nicole Biewenga received her undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley College of Environmental Design with a major in Architecture. She is a graduate dual degree candidate, Master in Real Estate Development and Master of Architecture, at Columbia University.

Nicole’s work centers on her commitment to design methodologies that engage social equity and cultural competence as essential to how we approach the complexities of transdiciplinary practice.

E.J. Shin

Co-Founder

E.J. is a creative director with design experience in both engineering and architecture. Her academic education has been at the State University of New York and Columbia University.

​

Her broad spectrum of experience varies from construction support of the design-build project for Tappan Zee Bridge Hudson River Crossing, New York State’s signature bridge - to participation in the international exhibition at the Venice Biennale of Architecture.

We are launching this site to gather feedback from our community to best understand how STUDIOIOIO can provide a resource to support students and early career professionals in Architecture

We will be seeking SEED investment to build out a beta test of our platform with full functionality! Please check back and stay tuned :)

STUDIOIOIO will launch its firm consulting services to match make independently operating designers to contract work and joint ventures.
